So today was nice to support another expo in the local area in Guildford. It was a lovely event, and great to meet businesses from across Surrey and further afield.
Well done to Paul Bridgland and Steve Page for running the Surrey Business Expo this year, another year done and dusted. A great success.
Tradeshow events are powerful in creating strong business communities. Tradeshows and networking events do more than merely provide you with leads; they give you the rare opportunity to form bonds with like-minded, driven business people. Face-to-face events offer companies the opportunity to share their experiences in the world of business and learn from one another. Forging relationships through coming together and supporting each other is much more sustainable than simply turning up and trying to sell to everyone in sight.
On the day of the event we once again had a game theme, this time around it was a casino as this works well and everyone likes to have a flutter. Two prizes at the end of the day, and two winners.
A very well done to Aathira Nair of Wine & Something and Elaine Herlihy of Beluga Finance who also won the Golden Ticket which she can use in September if she wishes to visit the Sussex Business Show.
