Organisers of Surrey Business Expo, Sussex Business Show and Hampshire Business Show met up on the 19th April to discuss future partnerships.

Independently they run the three premier business shows in their counties and together they support, promote and collaborate with each other. Ensuring their event stay at the top, showcasing local businesses and is an enjoyable experience for all who attend.

Sonny originally approached business expo organiser, Paul Bridgland of the Surrey Business Expo and Steve Page of Surrey Event Professionals, along with Josh Mitchell of Mitchell & Stones and the Hampshire Business Show in 2020. It took a simple introduction on LinkedIn to get the ball rolling, and that single intro led to Paul calling Sonny directly within a few days as he was keen to work together.

Few expo event organisers create partnerships, and previous failures in their respective local areas of Sussex and Hampshire meant Sonny and Josh were even more determined to make the collaboration a success. By looking at regional events, further afield, has opened doors for The Sussex Business Show and for the Hampshire Event as well.

Our group is solid and we enjoy meeting up to have lunch and chew the fat on ideas.

Along with the four core members, we’re now adding Andy Kybett of Wyntercon and Lara Bull of the Business Innovation South Expo bringing more friendly expo organisers together.
