Insights from #HBS
The recent Hampshire Business Show, held in Southampton, showcased the local business community across the South Coast. As the Premier B2B trade show in Hampshire, this annual event gathered professionals from diverse industries under one roof, providing a dynamic platform for networking, growth, and knowledge sharing. With over a hundred of exhibitors, the show buzzed with activity, highlighting emerging trends and innovative approaches that are shaping the future of the business landscape in Hampshire.
Winners of the business card draw was Mindworks Marketing.
I really enjoyed this years’ event, and next year I’ve already got a plan to do something quite special. It was really great to meet Simon Boulding, who runs Prometheus Sailing who was a nieghbour at the show, shame we didn’t win some gin, but it was great having a chat to a fellow yachting person. A different Sam Thomas, which did make me giggle when she handed me her card. Sam, runs Print Dimensions and I met hundred’s of other folk at the expo.
One of my favourite talks was from Jamie Pidgley of Zappie, a fantastic story with lots of different takeaways for growth.
From startups to well-established corporations, innovation was front and center at this year’s show. Many exhibitors showcased cutting-edge products and solutions, especially within the tech and sustainability sectors.
I also met the lovely Southampton Pride.
It’s held every August Bank Holiday Weekend. Guildhall Square, Southampton. It’s run by the amazing Julianne Watling-McCarthy, Pride Organiser.
See you next year for HBS 2025.
