Customer Experience (CX) Finalists
You remember the business, not necessarily from what you bought, but how they made you feel during and after purchasing.
Sonny Cutting’s corporate background from his life before founding Sussex Business Show taught him the importance of customer service. And so now, each year, at the Sussex Business Show, the Customer Experience (CX) Awards is hosted to recognise the hard work and dedication of businesses towards their customers.
This is judged via an in-depth mystery shopper test and involves a rigorous test of phone calls, emails and chat bots, all which combine to give a rich response rate and understanding of how well a business is doing with their customer experience.
Last year’s winners were Shredded Neat who won 1st place in 2023, pictured is Nick Maloney, Sales Manager.
Why Customer Service is Key
The CX Awards stems from Sonny’s days as a Field Sales Manager at BT and as a technical consultant in web development, sales and marketing. Travelling around the South East to meet teams in sales and digital marketing, he really started to understand the core of connecting with people in business and how important it is to give people a good experience.
This understanding followed him through to the creation of the premier game-themed B2B trade show and to offer something not just different, but truly special too.
Customer service should be at the very core of business because it’s so easy for people to put negative reviews online via social media. Every brand’s customer experience should be optimum because if you don’t offer great customer service, someone else will. Today’s world of choice provides very little loyalty, especially if you don’t look after your customers.
The Final Countdown
The finalists of the CX Awards are in the process of being whittled down. Five companies have already done us proud and made it to the finals, and another five will join them by the end of June.
Ourten finalists are:
- Extech Cloud
- CmdShiftR
- JPS Wealth Management
- Clearline Recruitment
- Gingerbread World
- Victoria Health Management
- Longwood Business Support
- Marketing 101
- Rubix VT
- Solar Dynamics
The ten finalists will be just three by the end of July and then the winners will be announced at the Customer Experience Awards on September 26th at Brighton Dome, which is sponsored by multi-award winning company; Cleankill Pest Control.
Would your business make it to the final?
It’s fantastic to see that businesses are thinking long term about the CX experience, and that the above companies have made it into our ‘professional business’ category. These are companies who want to exceed all expectations to win every customer. And consequently turn that customer into an actual client who will shout from the rooftops about the brilliant customer experience they have received.
Where would you rate yourself? And could you do more?
5 – The very best experience
4 – A good experience
3 – An average experience
2 – A challenging experience
1 – A very poor experience
Today you need to stand out, and be the best you possibly can be. People are quick to put up negative reviews, and the best course of action may be to nip that in the bud with a stellar customer experience.
After the show, we will release the data to the businesses we have called, but only if requested. It’s an excellent training tool to allow you to better your customer experience and highlight where you could improve!
