Those who truly understand how important customer service is recognise it’s not just a ‘department’ or a ‘chore’ we have to do as business owners. Rather it’s a philosophy that builds the foundation of every aspect of operations.
One such champion of such a philosophy is Shredded Neat, and their recent claim to the winning prize of a 100% recycled gift box containing wine at the 2023 Sussex Business Show’s Customer Experience (CX) Awards is testament to that.
The CX Award
Customer Experience Awards lie in a commitment to honouring and celebrating the businesses that share the same ethos as the founder, Sonny Cutting. With a background working at BT (who have always held customer service as one of their core mission statements), Sonny found this ethos to be ingrained in him – even when starting his own business.
Whilst working with hundreds of businesses across Sussex, Sonny recognised the opportunity to reward those who championed the customer at heart.
The Selection Process
Prior to the Sussex Business Show in September, rigorous evaluations took place, with a focus on customer service. The team rang numbers listed on company sites to test their customer service. After multiple rounds of assessment and evaluation, the team narrowed it down to just four. These four came out as the front-runners, each deserving recognition for their commitment to customer satisfaction.
Shredded Neat – Winner
Shredded Neat emerged as the champion, securing first place with their exceptional customer service. Even a quick Google displays raving reviews about their friendliness, willingness to help and superb customer service.
Nick Maloney, Business Development Manager of Shredded Neat, is mentioned numerous times even on these online reviews, showing how he exemplifies the service he prides his company on. His leadership showcases how outstanding customer experience is not just a job to be done, but rather a culture embedded in operations.
